Your Future Career Choices Belong to YOU

Never let anyone convince or tell you otherwise. Nothing is worse than having a job in any career path without passion. Spend your LIFE ~ hours, days or years ~ work or play ~ where you want to be, doing what you want to do. You're on a journey called life so make your decisions wisely, not in haste. Few decisions are more important, if any.

Set your goals high with great expectations. Never be persuaded to give up for any reason. You have a purpose to live, to serve, to give back the best that you have. Maybe you did less than your very best in high school, college, even a few past jobs without excuse. Forget the past, it's gone, never to return for a do-over. We call that History and have to live with it.

However, learn from your past history or it'll end up repeating itself. If you had some ruff places or bad experiences from poor choices then set your goals higher. Don't repeat the same errors you've made in the past. You can begin again with a new direction.

Maybe you don't need change. Just keep repeating good choices. In the future as your career grows and develops, accept greater responsibility. Become more valuable to your employer or yourself if a business owner. Write down your goals and keep score. Be sure to journal your activities and accomplishments daily according to your goals.

Ask yourself WHY about everything and listen for the answers. Why did I pick this job? Why am I on this career path? Why am I going on this trip? Why am I with this firm? Why did I go into my own business? Keep asking WHY, write your answers down quickly. It will surprise you with either good thoughts or it may open new doors for exploration.

Challenges and decisions are constant companions. Sometimes you can simply be in the wrong place, wrong company, it's just wrong as far as you are concerned. You're getting powerful messages to seek a move, to make a change, to get a new career path.

Maybe you realized that you're in a dead-end job. It's possible that you took the job without thinking or it was an imperative at the time to survive. You owe it to yourself and your family to be the best that you can be. All of us have a purpose in life or we wouldn't be here. God is interested in your future. Don't let him down.
